4 tips to stay Motivated


All the time I see people become exhausted and quit, or give up, or just stop doing the things they were doing to continue a good habit, to get a better career, to gain more education, to be a better person, to find a more fulfilled life. We constantly see things that tell you just stay motivated, just strive for motivation, just keep going bu the problem with those is it doesn’t tell you how.

How do you stay motivated when you are tired as fuck?

how do you stay motivated when shit is hitting the fan, how do you stay motivated when you have 12,000 things to get done and only 24 hours in the day?

How do you stay motivated when you are working a job you hate just so you can also finish school?

how to do stay motivated when you feel like you have been consistent everyday and not seeing progress?

how do you stay motivated when you start a new gym routine and you aren’t seeing results?

Or when you start eating healthy yet you aren’t noticing a difference yet?

or when you start a budget but you feel like it’s taking forever to grow your savings?

Each and every one of us will have different situations and things that we are trying to stay motivated for, or find the motivation to continue but the way we stay motivated is the same. FOUR things we should be focusing on to keep our motivation up, and to prevent from getting burnt out. Make list each week how will you stay disciplined, how will you practice consistency, how will you rest, what will you do when someone else tries to get in the way of motivation? Write it down every week and reference it when you are starting to feel less than motivated.


THIS IS SO important, because lets face it we are not going to wake up every single day a beaming ray of sunshine ready to take on the world. We all have responsibilities, bills, work, school, kids, and other things that demand our time and energy. You will wake up sometimes and you will not want to do anything I get it really, I am like that a lot and I struggle with discipline the most. IN order for us to stay motivated and to keep moving forward we have to be able to practice discipline. This is not as easy at it sounds, I am constantly working on bettering myself in this area. When you don’t feel like doing something, you need to force yourself to do it. Progress takes time, and we are not always going to want to do what it takes but if we train ourselves to have discipline we will be able to continue to move forward even on the days we don’t feel like doing shit. I am with you, we can do this!


CONSISTENCY is everything. In relationships, in parenthood, in school, in work, within our health, within the gym, within our mindset. What we do consistently is going to determine where we are going in each aspect of our lives. When we are first starting out in anything we aren’t going to see immediate results but if we continue to be consistent, continue to do the little things everyday, continue to show up for ourselves, and others we will see results just keep moving forward in any area of your life and do not give up consistency, if you fall of the wagon pick yourself back up and keep moving forward you got this.


I wanted to bring this up because it’s important for example you can’t work, go to school, be a mom, rock your side hustle, and still maintain a healthy mindset when you are overworking yourself without taking time to yourself. You have to learn to rest, to recharge, to refresh. YOU NEED REST. I hear you, I know you are rocking the shit out of everything that you are doing but if you don’t want to become burnt out and unmotivated make sure you are taking time for Self Care, make sure you are scheduling in time to take a break and do something that you can just enjoy! SCHEDULE IT I AM SERIOUS, YOU NEED IT.

I added this because I think its extremely important to bring up, when we are motivated and super excited about something, or creating something, or trying to change jobs, or going back to school, or deciding we want / or don’t want children, or buying a house, or getting into a relationship or out of one OR ANY type of situation that is going to change your life people will always react to you based of their perception. I 110 percent believe in the support of your friends and family but if someone tells you you shouldn’t be doing something, and you really want this change tell them thank you in the nicest way possible but to fuck off. Excuse my language but you know whats best for you in every aspect of your life, and if you are super motivated about something don’t EVER let someone else take that from you. Don’t let people bring you down, just because they are on a different path than you 🙂


I wrote this because I want you to know you are not alone, that changing our mindset when it comes to anything is hard, keeping on the right track is going to take work. Everything that is worthwhile is not going to come so easily we have to let go of the instant gratification that we are so use to and continue to work hard in the area that we are trying to change, or trying to stay motivated in. YOU GOT THIS, KEEP GOING, take breaks when you need to, don’t listen to others, take care of yourself, remind yourself that you are not going to enjoy every part of the process and eventually things will start looking up, as long as you don’t stop even when you want to 🙂

    Discipline is the key to staying motivated. I know when I keep on top of myself and remind myself I can do this or I have done that before what ever task I am doing feels easier to do

    Oh wow! Thanks for all these great ideas! Rest is my biggest thing. I will overwork myself and then NOTHING gets done when I finally crash!

    Great tips!! I’ve been slacking lately and it’s not because I don’t have ideas, but because with everything else going on I just can’t find the time to sit down and write. I have been so stressed trying to get my courier business up and running, I go to bed exhausted and wake up exhausted. So my major struggle right now is trying to juggle and find time for my blog, but at the end of the day you have to prioritize.
